how I learned to love & embrace my self worth

April 26, 2018

The weekend started with breakfast on the coast, bike rides through Palm Beach, Florida, and fun for the Lilly Pulitzer Sun-seeker Capsule photoshoot. Leaving me in awe, one thing I never expected was the indescribable energy on set. Here’s the thing, I was more confident when I stopped trying to be someone else’s definition

of beautiful and started being my own. Just a few years ago I exited a long-term relationship that left me feeling worthless. God showed me walking away has nothing to do with weakness and everything to do with strength. This set my heart on fire to live intentionally and cultivate joy. I had faith I could do anything and so I did, encouraging others to do the same.

Let’s be real, not everyone is going to believe in you or support you but know who you are, know what you want, and know what you deserve. Francis Scott Fitzgerald said it best, for what it’s worth: it’s never too late to be whoever you want to be. I hope you live a life you’re proud of, and if you find that you’re not, I hope you have the strength to change it. Who’s with me?!
